Sir,
I have the honor to forward a report on the Chinese Craft, which are in the habit of anchoring in Victoria Harbour, and the different bays round this island; information requested by His Excellency the Governor.
The Chinese boats of every description that anchor here may be divided into three classes, to be distinguished as Regular Traders, boats that are regularly engaged on the mainland of China, - Casual Visitors, including all boats which through rough weather, purposes of trade, or by other reasons are induced to visit this Colony,
